Crystal Beach Public Pool

Crystal Beach Swimming Pool is a national landmark that was constructed in 1938 during the Great Depression by the Works Progress Administration. The pool is known for its iconic semi-circular design and is still enjoyed by tens of thousands each year. Crystal Beach holds over 20,000 gallons of water and is approximately nine feet deep.

Hargan Matthews Park is the perfect place for play! This riverboat-inspired playground is designed to be inclusive and enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities. It is conveniently located right next to the riverfront with public restroom areas and eateries close by. The Madison-Milton bridge with a pedestrian sidewalk is also within walking distance of this park. The Story Walk Project installs laminated pages from a children’s book on wooden stakes that children can read as they play at this park.
